Transcribing Your Videos

Salina efficiently generates accurate transcripts from uploaded video files using advanced AI technology. The process begins with video upload, followed by automated transcription, creating a time-stamped text version that serves as the foundation for further content processing, including translation and repurposing.

How to Upload Videos to Salina

1. To upload videos to Salina, navigate to the home page and select the Transcription Tile, which is the leftmost of the three tiles in the center of the screen.

2. The File Upload Screen will appear, prompting you to either click to select your video file or drag and drop it into the designated area.

Salina supports a wide range of file formats, including MP4, MP3, M4A, MOV, AAC, FLAC, FLV, OGG, OGV, WAV, and WEBM, ensuring compatibility with most common video and even audio file types.

3. After selecting your desired video file, click the Upload button and wait briefly as Salina processes the file and automatically generates the transcript for you.

4. Once the transcript is generated, you can review its content using the Scroll Bar and verify its accuracy against the original video audio.
